The Transformer Division of Howard Industries, Inc., located in Laurel, Mississippi, has recently upgraded the certification of its Quality Management System to the new ISO-9001: 2008 Standard.
This revised standard replaces the previous ISO-9001:2000 Standard 2008. Every five years the International Standards Organization is required to review and update their Standards to ensure they evolve to meet changing business needs and expectations.
ISO-9001: 2008 certification was granted to the Transformer Division by Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc.
