Howard Industries announced today that the Technical Standards Committee “A” of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utilities Service has granted conditional acceptance to the company’s Medium Power Transformers rated 67 kV with ONAN capacities of 5 MVA through 30 MVA. RUS had previously granted conditional acceptance to115 kV transformers of the same capacities. These ratings now appear on page an(3.1) of the Department’s Conditional List of Materials, indicating that they are acceptable for use on the systems of RUS Electrification borrowers.
