Howard Industries announced today that the Technical Standards Committee "A" (Electric) of the United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service (RUS), has accepted the Howard SVR-1 step voltage regulators (50, 75, 100, 150, and 219 Ampere, 7.62 kV) for listing in the RUS List of Materials (RUS Informational Publication 202-1). Inclusion in the List of Materials indicates that these regulators are acceptable for use on the systems of RUS Electrification borrowers.
