Howard Industries, Inc. has announced a price increase of four percent for all liquid-filled transformers including single-phase overhead, three-phase overhead, single-phase pad-mounted, three-phase pad-mounted, single-phase subsurface, three-phase subsurface, and small power transformers.
The increase is effective for all quotations dated on or after January 29, 2004. All existing orders and blanket contracts are not affected. The price increase is necessary to offset recent surcharges implemented by steel suppliers and dramatic increases in the base cost of certain commodities, such as copper, aluminum, carbon steel, oil, and natural gas.
